Car Parking Options

London City airport offers convenient parking within a floodlit area. The car park is within walking distance of the terminal building. BCP offers pre-booking of car parking at the Main Car Park. A covered walkway takes you over to the terminal. There are trolleys available for use with luggage. On entry to the car park take a ticket at the barrier and keep this until you return. On return take your ticket and BCP confirmation to the information desk where your ticket will be validated for exit.

Driving directions to London City Airport

from Cambridge (North)

Depart Cambridge

Follow the city centre signs and head west along the A1303 towards the south M11. Join the M11 at junction 13 and head south towards London. When the M11 ends join onto the A406 North Circular Road towards Redbridge.

Continue along the A406 until you reach a roundabout and turn off onto the A1020 Royal Docks Road.

Continue along the A1020 until you turn left onto the A112 and cross the Connaught Bridge. Take the first left at the roundabout and drive along Hartmann Road to the airport.

Arrive at London City airport

Trip duration: approximately 1 hour 10 minutes.

Tip: Always allow extra time for trips to Central London as you may encounter traffic congestion.

from Southampton (South)

Depart Southampton

Follow the city centre signs and head north along the A33 towards the M3 motorway. Drive onto the M3 and head north towards London for around 50 miles. Leave the M3 at exit 2 and head north along the M25 until you leave at exit 15 and join onto the M4 east Central London.

Drive to the end of the M4 where you continue onto the A4. Drive along the A4 until you turn off onto the A302. Continue along the A302 towards Parliament Square.

Take the A3211 north at Westminster Bridge. Continue east on Byward Street A100 and then left onto A1211 (Minories) and then onto the A1210 Mansell Street. Bear left onto the A11 and then onto the A13 Commercial Road. Drive for around 3 miles. Then take the A1020 followed by the A1011 following the signs for the City airport.
